Best WordPress Hosting Convesio Review

This is my review of the acclaimed best WordPress hosting Convesio.
I have used many web hosting providers to create, manage, and improve WordPress websites for hundreds of bloggers and small business owners.
And now, I have tested and reviewed Convesio WordPress hosting to find out if it really is the fastest and best WordPress hosting provider for your blog or website.
Convesio is different than all other web hosting platforms I have experience with. It has unique features that you won't find anywhere else.
In this review, we will explore what makes Convesio different, its features, pros and cons, pricing, customer reviews, and potential web hosting alternatives.
Let's get started.

Convesio Hosting Summary
For profitable high-traffic blogs, business websites, and WordPress agencies that prioritize performance, security, and reliability, Convesio hosting is a good choice.
In 2022 it is the only web hosting service with self-healing and auto-scaling features to ensure your site always loads fast and is online all of the time.
But if you are starting a new blog or running a business website on a small budget, Convesio WordPress hosting is not for you.
Compared to other hosting providers, Convesio is very expensive. And in terms of website performance, you can get similar results on cheaper hosting platforms.
I tested two identical WordPress sites. One hosted on Convesio and the other (this site) on A2Hosting, the turbo web hosting plan priced at just $6.99 a month.
I optimized both websites exactly the same using the best WordPress site speed optimization plugin, Nitropack.
Then, I analyzed page speed and performance scores on mobile and desktop devices using Google Pagespeed Insights (for mobile) and GTmetrix (for desktop).
And as you can see from the results below, there is little difference between them.
Both sites load ultra-fast and pass core web vital scores, which are important for higher rankings in Google.
Site #1: wpgiver.com hosted at Convesio. Tested with Google Pagespeed Insights.

Site #2: theblogmechanic.com hosted at a2 Hosting. Also tested with Google Pagespeed Insights.

Next, here are the desktop results from GTmetrix.
Site #1: wpgiver.com hosted at Convesio takes only 1 second to load.

Site #2: theblogmechanic.com at a2Hosting loads a little faster in just 0.8 seconds.

What I like about best WordPress hosting Convesio
- I reached out to the support team multiple times during my review. They were fast to respond and very helpful.
- There is a YouTube channel with step-by-step tutorials showing you how to use Convesio hosting and its features.
- They are the only hosting provider I know of to offer a 30-day free trial.
- Website backups are stored in the cloud. Many other web hosts store them on your server, which is not good. If your site ever gets hacked, the backups are compromised. And if the server crashes, they become inaccessible.
What I Don't Like About Best WordPress Hosting Convesio
To add a domain name, you need to create 'A records' and if you've never created them before, it is a complicated and technical task. There is a video tutorial showing you how to add the records, but in it, Convesio is using Cloudflare, and the process is not the same as some other registrars.
The one-click SSL feature did not work on the first domain name I added. But it worked perfectly on the second domain name.
This gave me an opportunity to test Convesio's support team. They responded fast and provided clear instructions for adding 'A records' to the specific domain name registrar I am using, and quickly resolved the SSL issue.
What Is Convesio?
Convesio is a next-generation managed WordPress hosting provider designed specifically for high-traffic websites and WordPress agencies.
Tom Fanelli created it in 2018 with one single goal in mind: to make scaling WordPress both easy and affordable, and that's exactly what he did.
You can deploy WordPress on the fastest cloud hosting platforms that automatically scale up and down when traffic fluctuates in just a few clicks.
And, you only pay for what you use.
What is Managed WordPress Hosting?
Managed WordPress hosting is a type of web hosting where your web host takes care of all the technical aspects of running a WordPress site for you.
Including:
- Backups
- Updates
- Uptime monitoring
- Speed optimization
- Security
Managed WordPress hosting frees up your time to focus on other essential things to grow your business, such as creating content and marketing.
What Makes Convesio Managed WordPress Hosting Different?
Its infrastructure.
Convesio is the only auto-scaling hosting platform powered by Docker containers. I'll explain what docker containers are in just a minute.
First, to understand why this makes Convesio the best managed WordPress hosting provider, you need to know how its competitors host their customer's websites.
Depending on the resources a website needs, most of them host managed WordPress sites on a shared or virtual private server (VPS).
Shared hosting: As the name suggests, with shared hosting, you share the same server with hundreds or even thousands of other websites.
The upside? Shared hosting is cheap.
But because there are so many websites sharing the same server, resources are limited, even though they are marketed as being unlimited, which simply isn't true.
If any of the websites on the same server has a sudden spike in traffic, your site will likely go offline or start loading really slow.
And if it is your website that starts using too many server resources, the web host will tell you to upgrade your hosting plan, or your web hosting account is suspended.
VPS hosting: Virtual Private Servers are a big step up from shared hosting.
You get your own partition of a physical server shared with a small handful of other users, and their websites cannot affect the performance of yours.
But server resources are still limited. Once you reach maximum capacity, your website needs to be moved to a different server to keep it online and loading fast.
Convesio hosting abolishes the limitations and risks of shared and VPS hosting with its docker container-powered infrastructure.
What Are Docker Containers?
Docker containers are similar to the partition you get with VPS hosting, where resources are not shared with other websites.
The difference is: unlike VPS hosting, you are not limited by the physical server where your WordPress site lives.
VPS hosting can only scale vertically until the server is full, at which point a system admin needs to manually move your website to a different server.
Generally, the move takes 48 hours, during which time you cannot use your website, and the new server has more resources than you need most of the time.
But docker containers automatically scale vertically and horizontally, so you don't have to wait for your site to be moved or pay for resources you don't use.
If there is a significant spike in traffic, the docker platform creates more docker containers and shares the traffic load between them so your site won't slow down.
That's called vertical scaling.
If the physical server becomes full, horizontal scaling kicks in. More containers are created and deployed to a new server to keep your website online.
When the traffic spike ends, all the newly created containers are deleted automatically. That way, you only ever pay for what you use.
Benefits and Features of Best WordPress Hosting Convesio
Convesio's unique features and user interface make it simple and affordable to create large-scale WordPress sites in just minutes.

Easy to Use
Anyone from complete beginners to experienced WordPress developers can use Convesio hosting. The interface is easy to navigate and you just click a button to activate any of its features, including SSL, backups, auto-scaling, and self-healing.
The Best Website Uptime
Convesio's unique self-healing and auto-scaling features keep your WordPress site online almost all of the time.
Self-healing instantly brings it back online if it goes down for any reason. And auto-scaling stops the server from going down (and slowing down) when a site gets hammered with traffic.
Features like this make Convesio the best managed WordPress hosting provider for critical business websites.
In my 10+ years online, I've never seen anything like it before.
Only Pay For What You Use
Because Convesio's infrastructure can automatically scale up during a traffic spike and back down again when it ends, you never pay for more resources than you use.
This makes Convesio hosting the most affordable for scaling WordPress sites.
Site Speed and Performance
As seen in the site speed test I am sharing with you in this review (seen here), Convesio WordPress hosting is blazing fast.
Websites are on the fastest cloud platforms, powered by multiple MySQL database clusters. And, Convesio has its own custom-made fast cache.
To demonstrate how Covesio hosting can improve website load time, they run some tests of their own. Below are before and after results.

Safe Automated Backups
Convesio has built-in features that allow you to schedule automatic website backups and quickly restore a site in just a few clicks. More importantly ...
As we discussed earlier, Convesio backups are already safely stored in the cloud where they cannot be compromised, damaged, or lost.
You can choose from a backup interval range of 24 hours to 180 days and decide how long to keep backups for - from 24 hours to 10 years, or even forever.
Security Monitoring
Convesio is very transparent about how they approach WordPress security to help protect your website from hack attacks and malicious spam. And I like that.
Since thousands of websites get hacked every day, security is a top priority when choosing the best WordPress hosting for any website.
Convesio uses cutting-edge tools to monitor customer sites 24/7. If malware or any other type of security threat is detected, they clean it up right away, for free.
And they even go the extra mile by helping customers install and configure frontend security plugins, including Wordfence.
Combined with access to advanced security settings where you can:
- Enforce HTTP/HTTPS
- Activate two-factor authentication
- Configure security protocols and policies
- Schedule backups and;
- Control firewall rules
Convesio significantly reduces the possibility of your website being compromised.
Superior Customer Support
The support team at Covesio is online and available 24/7 via live chat and email to help answer any questions and resolve any issues you may have.
They also have a dedicated YouTube channel with step-by-step video tutorials for all your needs and a support knowledge base with written documentation.
30-Day Free Trial
That's right. You can try Convesio WordPress hosting for free for 30 days, and there are no limitations.
During the trial period, you get full access to all the same features as paying customers, and you don't need to give your credit card information to sign up.
And if you already have a website ...
You can clone it on a temporary URL and test website load time to see how switching to WordPress hosting Convesio improves performance.
Many other WordPress hosting providers offer a money-back guarantee instead.
Free Website Migration
Convesio will migrate your WordPress website from any web host to their platform for free in as little as 48 hours.
All you have to do is submit a migration request, and they will take care of everything else for you.
However, it's worth noting that the free migration is for basic websites only. If you have a complex WordPress site, you may have to pay a migration fee.

Convesio WordPress Hosting Customer Reviews
I am yet to read a bad review about best WordPress hosting Convesio.
Users are blown away by its ease of use, speed, and outstanding support. They give it a 5 out of 5-star rating.
"Convesio made it really easy to set up my WordPress website. I started out using Godaddy for my website but it always seemed sluggish. I even had my clients complaining that my site was slow loading or they were completely unable to reach it. Convesio helped me from start to finish with my domain settings, website performance, backups, and security. They made the entire process easy and I never worry about my website speed.
Their team is online 24/7 which is great since I usually work on my site after hours, this makes it easy to get immediate help if I run into an issue. Convesio's platform is very fast and has a user-friendly interface so I can find what I am looking for quickly. When I was on Godaddy they used Cpanel and I was lost in the settings and features. I had to spend time researching how to do simple things, it was so frustrating! With Convesio, everything I need is right at my fingertips and it's so easy to find what I am looking for".
