About The Blog Mechanic
Hi, I'm Kerry, The Blog Mechanic and I am the founder of this website.
If the technical side of creating an online business makes you feel overwhelmed, frustrated and confused …
Or if technology just eats away at the little time you have left to work on your business outside of a day job and family commitments …
You’re in the right place!
Since September 2015, I have helped more than 200 success-driven entrepreneurs like you with the technical aspects of creating a blog-based online business that sells digital products and services using WordPress.

About Kerry Russell
( The Short Version )
I am a loving mother of one, an avid dog lover, a karaoke fanatic, a British expat, and a food addict which of course is not a good thing, but it sure does taste good. Potato chips are my naughty sin 😉
Prior to life as an entrepreneur, I was a singer. I was 14 when I realised I can sing and from that day onwards it was my dream to become a celebrity pop star.
As soon as I reached the legal age of 18 years, I started singing professionally in pubs, clubs and doing seasonal gigs at holiday sites throughout the UK. And from time to time, I did a little DJ’ing to.
At 20, I proudly signed a pre-recording contract with a local studio based in West Yorkshire where I lived back then. I don’t play any musical instruments, so I’d write the lyrics and the studio’s team worked with me to create music around the vocal melody.
But as a single mum having to work late nights, long weekends and be away from home during the summer months, I decided to leave that path in life behind and focus on being a parent.
Fast forward to May 15th 2010, after a long soul searching quest for a better life, not just for myself, for my beautiful daughter Shannon, I became deeply interested in online marketing.
Since then I have invested tens of thousands of dollars in to my online education with several successful entrepreneurs including Alex Jeffrey, John Thornhill, Dean Holland, Lynn Terry, John Morrow and Lee McIntyre.
At the beginning of my online journey, I fully intended to follow in the footsteps of all the amazing entrepreneurs listed above by creating and selling digital products...
But as I worked my way through all the mentoring programs I had purchased, it became apparent that my skills and strengths are in the technical side of building businesses - tech is what I am naturally good at, what I excel at, and what I enjoy doing the most.
Fast forward again to September 2015 and The Blog Mechanic was born.
Within a few months of launching The Blog Mechanic, I partnered with Yaro Stark, founder of Entrepreneurs-Journey.com to help students of his coaching program, Blog Mastermind 2.0, and members of his community, the Laptop Lifestyle Academy, with blog setups, marketing funnels, membership sites and many other technical aspects of building an online blog-based business.
